Game of thrones

so my brother and I were discussing what house we would belong to. after a heated argument, I’m resigned to admit I would be house greyjoy and my brother accepted that he would be house arryn. Why? on account of i’m a jerk face and he’s a momma’s boy

w/e better than the kraken for house greyjoy

me: isn't it cool in game of thrones how every house has a sigil that represents them? what do you think our family's sigil would be?
bro: idk, a sloth, probably

for 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,13,14,16, 17 (but I would like to play her, not the other way around),18, 19, and most of all 20. Uffie is my hero. I was talking to one of my many doctors, lol, and he asked me why all of my heroes save for one are men. sure four out of top five are men, but number one is uffie, and she trumps em all x10.

Absolute last day of my academic career

so far, at least. I’m a tall girl, so I feel my education should be highest;)

How do I feel, followers? I am thrilled it is over. I really wasn’t feeling well this semester and I am really looking forward to fully devoting my time to the restoration of my health.

What do I think of my experience at St. John’s? For the most part, I was really unhappy there, but I did have some positive experiences and I think it did prepare me for the world. It was really hard as a commuter, and the student body wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, but I think I was really pleased with the professors and the quality of the education I received. I mean, st. john’s as an institution was pretty underhanded and wasteful with finances, I feel, but the professors who were not coaxed by stj into early retirement, my god, some of them are the most amazing creatures to exist. I don’t remember ever being so fond of a prof/teacher before, but some of them were truly extraordinary. Unfortunately, the classroom environment never reached it’s full potential, because the science lectures are too large, while in the other classes like philosophy, some people are just brain-dead. I swear, the most interesting lecture on earth, and some (more than half, really) people are 100% uninterested. (btw, I used to have facebook in highschool, so I know that you can actively use it maximally for like 10 min, and any excess time spent is out of sheer boredom; I’ve seen people on it during the whole duration of class!!).  It puts a damper on a discussion and it just upsets me because I feel less motivated and inspired.

What i mean to say is, St. John’s was aiight. good professors, some really nice students, 3 mill dollar gold statue and the same research labs from the 70s. I hope I don’t sound bitter, it’s really a decent place to learn and grow. It just wasn’t for me.

Anyway, I’ve got the summer to look forward to!

If there is one philosopher who accurately represents our generation

I think it would be David Hume. I think we’re all cynics and radical empiricists at heart. No matter how much optimism I muster up, I’m from camp “depth and breadth of human suffering”.

That’s not to say I don’t believe in a creator being! I just don’t think It’s the god of traditional theism. “All knowing, all powerful, all good”, my eye!
